Enjoying Hungarian Cuisine with a View: Echo Étterem Restaurant in Budapest, Hungary

During our visit to the plant and meeting, our host took us to the hills for a late afternoon lunch at Echo Étterem. Once again, it proved to be an excellent experience. The breathtaking view, delicious food, and great company made it unforgettable. If we didn't know any better, you would think that all the cuisine in Budapest, Hungary is like this. I highly recommend adding this restaurant to your list of places to visit in Tihany.

Lunch typically starts with a lovely glass of wine, followed by everyone trying something different from the menu.

Roasted duck leg  Cabbage with cvekedel, homemade apricot jam, plums stuffed with garlic

Skin-on roasted farm chicken breast  with sweet potato puree, beets (marinated yellow and roasted purple beets

Boar wildly with goat cheese napkin dumplings, roasted root vegetables

Slow-roasted beef cheek with red wine jus with truffle puliska, perhaps roasted brussels sprouts
